Hey, This is Ochi. I have spent past two Tuesdays with my son.
The first Tuesday night, we went to the night safari, and the second Tuesday we went to the Singapore Zoo.
SINGAPORE NIGHT SAFARI
The night safari, we get on the tram and hear the guidance coming through the speakers. We are not allow to take any pictures with a flash...So sorry I can not share any of the beautiful sights.
It takes about 45min to go around the zoo. After the tram ride, there will be a show waiting..I would say both the kids and adults will enjoy the night at the night safari.
I don't know if it's my luck, every time when I go, the animals are sleeping..sleeping really good. Usually, they are active at night.
Only this elephant was moving and being busy.
SINGAPORE ZOO
A lot of people here in Singapore do the day time zoo first then go do the night safari all at once.
You can tell it is a tour spot, I see everything written in Japanese…that helps!!
the "Tanuki" or raccoon dogs
These raccoon dogs are brought in from Japan. (Mr. Ueno who I know very well, a tennis lover) has a huge part of it!
They were being very active too.
the Rhinos
the Cheetahs
Always sleeping in here. Always!!!
the Zebras and Saku
the Giraffes
the Lions
Always sleeping too.
the Elephants
Getting ready for the show.
You must watch this show. You might have to fight for the seat but it's well worth it.
It's a map of the zoo. It has a lot of good to know informations.
the "Legend" White Tiger
It took me 13 years to see them actually moving….(They are always, always what else…sleeping.)
Don't forget to visit the Singapore Zoo while you are here!!
